TOPSHAM, Maine -- Gas prices are continuing to rise with no relief in sight, prompting many people to get rid of their gas-guzzlers and go hybrid.
Paul St. Pierre said his hybrid is quiet, comfortable, and he couldn't be happier with it.
He told News 8, "It's one of the best-rated environment-friendly cars on the market. I love it. It's a fabulous machine."
John Hinck is with the Natural Resources Council of Maine. He said our dependency on foreign oil is hurting our country and our environment. But he said technology such as hybrid cars can help.story continued
