Presidential Warming

Has anybody noticed that not one of the candidates running for president have mentioned anything about the environment. I have been following the race for the last three months or so, and not once have I heard anything about global warming, hybrid vehicles and things of that nature. Sure the economy and health care is important, but without clean air and technological breakthroughs where will we be in the future of this great country of ours. I just hope that whoever does get elected will follow in the footsteps of a Abraham LIncoln or a John F Kennedy and bring us back to the symbol of peace and prosperity in which the past immigrants that came here searched for.

Fisker Karma Hybrid Car Seen in Detroit Auto Show

The Fisker Karma can do 150 mph and go from 0-60 in 5.8 seconds. If that’s not enough for you, the new hybrid will go 50 miles off of lithium-ion batteries, before the gas engine will take over to recharge the batteries.

The Fisker Automotive plug-in hybrid was featured at the Detroit Auto show, taking advantage of the recent hype over hybrid cars.

The Fisker will sell for $80,000 and should be on car lots in 2009. source
